The average Topshop outfit made me chuckle. Back in the 80s Topshop was where people who didn't like clothes bought their clothes. They were marginally less fashionable than British Home Stores or the clothing aisle at ASDA. They certainly deserve kudos for reinventing themselves since.
Looking forward to seeing Flow and the new Soderbergh next week - thanks for both recommendations!
The funny thing about Topshop is that I always managed to find great clothes, which is the reason my sister always wanted to go there in the hope of finding something similar. Unfortunately she would always leave confused and when we got home she demanded to see the label of my clothes as she couldn't believe they were from the same place 😂 Hope you enjoy the films :)
Here for the rise of Pedro! When did ads become 5 minute films?? I mean I'll take all the Pedro choreographed dancing you give me but I now want to see which bit they used for the cut down version (must've been a long discussion in that marketing meeting). Also, South Korean man making me feel like I need more writing grit!
The funny thing about the Pedro ad is that I saw it on Youtube and only because it appeared on my Instagram feed first. I believe these longer, artistic concepts are meant more as an experience (a word brands love to throw around these days) for people to enjoy than for any real selling. But to your point, how many people understand that and sit through 5 mins of publicity? And yes, the man from South Korea has all my respect!

Totally, they know no-one is watching 15 second ads on TV anymore.
I click SKIP like I was on fire... 😂
